Shaolin Wahnam Finland would like to wish all guests and visitors a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year!

This year has a lot of exciting changes in store for our school, including a full website overhaul, many new additions in our offered courses, and upcoming international events!

Due to the undergoing website overhaul site updates will be scarce for a few months, but come summer our redesigned website will be offering lots of new content.

This Spring we will also offer a Shaolin Kungfu beginners course, starting on March 18th - be sure to apply early!

Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit to teach in Finland

Shaolin Wahnam Finland is proud to host the international Shaolin Winter Camp -course event in January 2010 and welcome Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit from Malaysia as our Winter Camp teacher! The event is open to all interested participants, so this is a rare opportunity to learn genuine Shaolin-arts from a high-level Master. In the Autumn of 2009 we organize beginners courses in both Shaolin Chi Kung and Shaolin Kungfu! Starting dates will be announced at this site shortly.

New Shaolin Kungfu beginners course

Our next Shaolin Kungfu beginners course will start 22.1.2009. The three-month course will be held on thursday evenings in Helsinki. You can learn more about Shaolin Kungfu and our beginners course here.

New Shaolin Kungfu beginners course

We've added a Shaolin Kungfu beginners course to our 2008 Spring course schedule! The course will be held on thursdays starting 10th of April 2008, to be concluded in June. You can learn more about the course at our sites courses-section, where there's also more details about our upcoming Chi Kung beginners course, also due to begin April this year. Shaolin Kungfu Training Programme added

We've added Shaolin Wahnam's official Shaolin Kungfu Training Programme to our site. The Training Programme offers an excellent method to progress systematically in practicing high-level kungfu skills, which include utilizing combat application, internal force and clarity of mind, as well as the ability to benefit from our skills in everyday life.

2007 Autumn courses

Our new beginners courses are due to start in Autumn of 2007. As usual, courses will be held in the capital area, but teaching will be soon available in the city of Pori as well with the inclusion of a chi kung course. More information at our Courses-section

Spring courses starting soon

In the Spring of 2007 Shaolin Wahnam Finland will organize courses in both Shaolin Kungfu and Chi Kung. Detailed descriptions of the courses can be found at the Courses section of this website; you can also contact us for more information. Courses are due to begin in February and March.

Happy New Year!

In 2007 we will introduce Shaolin Kungfu as a part of our course regimen. In addition we will organize chi kung courses, of which the first beginners course will begin in early Spring. We will update with complete course information during January.

Chi Kung Course Venue Changed

Due to unforeseeable changes in reservation arrangements for course venues, all chi kung courses during Sifu Wong's visit (Saturday 16.9. and Sunday 17.9.) will be held in Hanasaari cultural center in Hanasaari, instead of Hämeenkylä Manor as previously stated. Hämeenkylä Manor is still the course venue for kungfu course with Sifu Wong. Read more in the Course Venues page.

Sifu Wong Kiew Kit coming to Finland in September

In September, Sifu Wong Kiew Kit will be visiting Finland — during his stay, courses both in Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung and Shaolin Kungfu are offered. The location will be in the immediate vicinity to the Helsinki metropolitan area. More information will be available very soon — stay tuned!
